If you are self employed, you own your job. When you own a business you have systems in place that allow you to make money, even when you're home asleep. The three general kinds of business systems are:
1. You start a corporation that creates and owns its system.
2. You buy a franchise, i.e. someone else's system. Or;
3. You become part of a network marketing system, thereby joining a system already in operation.
Again, if you don't have systems in place, you are the magic. Therefore, when you are not working you are not making any money. If that's what you care to do, there is nothing wrong with that. However, if you want to go from owning your job to being a business owner, and for more in depth knowledge about the difference between being self-employed versus being a business owner, I strongly recommend you read Robert Kiyosaki's book, "The Cashflow Quadrant." If you don't have systems in place yet, it's never to late to begin creating, and implementing them into your business. If you lack the knowledge or experience to create and implement systems that's what a coach is there for.
Learn about, and develop systems my friends.
